subtilitas: Valerio Olgiati - School, Paspels 1998. The interior wall are slightly angled, eliminating all right angles. The shift is so subtle (always within 5 degrees of being perpendicular) that while not necessarily noticeable at first, the misalignment heightens one’s perception of the space. The room arrangement is also rotated from the first to the second floor; the stair leading you to another side of the circulation vestibule then on the lower floor, further disrupting the anticipated comprehension of the space.
